Medit has been at the forefront of realizing the easy entry into digital dentistry.
No more goop, gagging, or discomfort. Using our new state of the art Medit scanner your we can take a highly accurate digital impression of your teeth and jaw. This new technology completely eliminates the tray and putty impressions. The Medit scanner ensures a more accurate impression from the start, resulting in improved treatment and a more comfortable patient experience. Digital impressions also give you the ability to see your teeth instantly in 3D, improving communication during the consultation and treatment process.
One of the amazing components of the Medit Scanner is the ability of the scanning device to sterilize itself after each use. The tip of the scanner is removed and sterilized in our steam sterilizer. The base of the scanner has a built in UVC light that self activates upon the completion of the scan. The light is completely sealed in the scanning base and no light can be viewed, but the internal aspect of the scanning base is also completely sterilized after each use. This is such an important infection control component of this device that protects each and every patient.
How does it work?
The Medit scanner digitally captures the structure of the teeth and gums using the latest optical technology. The scanner is a compact, hand-held wand. Once we begins the scanning process, it can be stopped and started as many times as necessary.
Your mouth is scanned with a radiation-free laser, and in as little as two to three minutes, the laser renders a digitally perfect, 3D impression of your teeth and soft tissue structures. Through digital software, you'll then be able to follow the progress of the scans, including a 3D model of your teeth on our computer screen. Our Medit scanner can be used for any orthodontic treatment, including Invisalign® or any other clear aligner system.

Clarity Aligners gradually move your teeth - but without any metal wires or braces. Clarity Aligners treatment uses a system of removable, nearly invisible plastic trays designed to help guide your teeth into the ideal position and get the beautiful, healthy smile you want.
Treatment using Clarity Aligners starts with a custom, digital treatment plan that shows you exactly how your teeth will move and how long it will take to reshape your smile. You will get a series of clear aligners that should be worn for about one to two weeks each—depending on your custom treatment plan. It is recommended aligners be worn 22 hours a day, or as prescribed by your provider. The clear aligners are nearly invisible so you can go through your treatment and look good doing it.
